My Mom and Dad used to shop for antiques around Soquel, CA. Soquel is a quaint little town near Santa Cruz that has quite a few antique stores. Last time I visited my Mom, I wanted to go back to Wisteria Antiques, a beautiful place where I had bought a few pieces years ago. When I’m with my Mom, we must start our day with coffee and a pastry at Gayle’s Bakery in Capitola. It is THE BEST bakery on the planet. No kidding. Their Breads, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and take out gourmet food rival the best of the French. I only wish I lived 5 minutes from it.
Now about Wisteria….
You enter through this Wisteria covered walkway into their gardens with architectural pieces, planters, urns and iron furniture.
There are several cottages and sheds to meander through. You have to take your time because there is so much to look at. Next time I go there, I promised myself I would take much better pictures (and get a new phone) so that I convey how lovely the setting is.
